Let’s Do Meetings
I just read an article that suggests that meetings have become what email has... too much. It’s estimated that there are 11 million meetings in the U.S. each day, and according to research, at least a third of them are unproductive. So here's a quick breakdown on how to make meetings as productive as possible.
- Meetings that are problem soliving only invite four to six people
- Meetings that are to make decisions only invite four to seven people
- Meetings to set an agenda, invite five to 15 people (really? I guess there are these sorts of meetings)
- Meetings to brainstorm, invite 10 to 20 people
